A lot of things sound weird in you post. First of all, its not a poor country, instead you should have mentioned that there are many poor in the country. For eons, country has had the richest of the richest and continues to do so till date. Add to that the middle class that adds to the purchase power of the country today and the reason why so many multi-nationals are swarming the country to set up shops.
The root cause of the poor has been the result of colonial rule of the British, who came to India for its riches. Furthermore to the money the country has had, India has contributed immensely in every sphere of science, art and economy for more than 3 thousand years.
Hindi: There is so much content available on the subject, that even an hour of digging could have got you more to write than those two paras.
I guess you have written this article in good spirit, but your blog defeats the rudimentary purpose - rich & unique content. Hope you come up with some good coverage.

I’m sorry for my mistakes Sridhar. I mean ‘It was a poor country for several decades ago’.
This is my first blog in English, so many mistakes in grammar and vocab. I’m sorry for that.
